MUNICIPAL CONSULTANT

    Ms. Kelly Tan is the municipal Environment and Natural Resources Officer (MENRO) here in the legal Local Government of Bulan Sorsogon. She became an officer in year 2009. She graduated Bachelor of Science and Pores try at U.P Los Banos, Laguna.

the Function of MENRO (Municipal Environment and National Resources)

The office of MENRO is in charge to protect our environment. When witch protecting our environment it includes implementing laws for our nature, Together with making programs and projects that will help to enhance the beautification of community. Duties As she told us (Ms. Kelly Tan), they fully need our support or the support of community. Meaning to say, without the cooperation of the community, the function of MENRO will be useless. Because the community are the part of their project & program.

Mr. Teddy Guañizo is the operation manager of (RASI) REGAL ARASTE & STEVEDORING INCORPORATED.

RASI (REGAL ARASTE & STEVEDORING INCORPORATED) is serving a Porter. The porter said is the Authorize person that have Power. To assist or help the passenger or client in the port. they secure the passenger safety and mostly the personal belongings of passenger in the port.

   Mr. Quintero second seaman came from Palawan was assigned here in Bulan as one of P.C.G PHILIPPINE COAST GUARD. The Philippine Coast Guard's major units include the Maritime Security and Law Enforcement Command. (MSLEC) [Formerly known as

The Coast Guard Operating Forces (CGOF)]

The PCG is an armed and uniformed service primarily tasked with enforcing all applicable laws within the Philippine waters. Conducting maritime security operations, safeguarding of life and property at sea and protecting the marine environment and resources.

 

COUNCILOR'S

    Mr. Renz Aler G. Guelas is a Municipal Councilor in the Municipality of Bulan he is a former Sk Municipal federation president in the Municipality. Last May 2013 Local Elected as a member of Sangguniang Bayan. The councilor is the one who consists of the sangguniang bayan which is the Legislative branch of the LGU. The SB of  LGU are composed of eight elected municipal or the city councilor of the Ligang barangay president which is the execution members and the presiding vice mayor. The job of the sangguniang bayan is to make resolution or ordinance that will implement by the executive department of LGU. The main job of the councilor is to make a law that will implement here in territory of the jurisdiction of the LGU. And also Mr. Guelas is the one who in charge to handle the Committee of the Agriculture and tourism (CAT ). The measures of this are related of course  to the committee, and he is the author or he is the one who depend if necessary when having a public hearings. When the councilor submit their resolution  or ordinance it will publish in the news paper here in Bulan.

 

    Mr. Teodoro Dogillo is a barangay captain of San Francisco Bulan Sorsogon and at the same time he is a municipal councilor in the local government of bulan. He is the President and also the leader in liga of the barangay of the sangguniang bayan. It is the bridge to promote and make things in reality according to the needs of our entire people. Each of the resolution are imposed for the sake of every citizen. The councilor attend the session regularly and they make that they will not make any absences, in order to know the voice of every people. The things that they really do is to improve the barangay as well as those  problem that they encountered during their leadership, so that they can easily think for any possible solution. First and foremost is the reinforcement of the bank in our barangay or they wanted to put a bank on that barangay here in bulan. 

     Mr. Recto Valeriano is a two-termer councilor of L.G.U Bulan, Sorsogon , member of the Sangguniang Bayan. He was elected as one of top five councilor in Bulan. Being a councilor is not a joke. They have responsibility that they should do in a more or less 50,000 voters. For him, being a councilor is not a hard work if you have an objective to give laws, resolutions and programs. Their role is to implement resolutions and ordinance based on their assigned committee by the executive. He was assigned in the peace in order because he was a retired police. He has enough knowledge to do resolutions and ordinance for an especially for anti-crime. He also assigned in Coastal Resources Management w/c is to fixed all the problems of the fisherman, farmers and etc. he passed 23 resolutions and 15 ordinance and some of those are protect program, Brgy. Tanod federation and the Heritage councilor ordinance w/c is broaden our knowledge in the history of Bulan. He said that the best of being a Bulaneños is that we follow their programs.
